PBO's 2nd Bazaar For A Cause

Pinoy Bloggers Outreach (PBO) held a two-day bazaar at the Quezon City Memorial Circle on the 26th and 27th of October 2013. Dubbed as PBO's Bazaar For A Cause, the activity aimed to raise funds to support the volunteering efforts of the group.

Weeks prior to the event, the organizers headed by one of the PBO founders, Arline, collected pre-loved items such as clothes, books, accessories, DVDs, shoes, and bags from the PBO members and some friends. These were sold in affordable prices during the bazaar.

For Day 1, the PBO kiosk was manned by Christian, Arline, Kat, Jimmy, Glenn, Jei Son, Empi, Nutty, Madz, and Mecoy.

Christian, Arline, Jimmy, and Kat returned on the second day with new volunteers, Marge, Jojie, and Hash.

One of the best things that happened during the bazaar was the makeover of two young children who stopped by the PBO stall to check out some books. The PBOers gave them free clothes, shoes, bags, and school supplies.

The bazaar for a cause delivered a total of 17,810 pesos, which will be used to forward the planned projects of PBO, one of which is the upcoming anniversary outreach, tentatively set in January 2014.
